Raphi and Heather (Tzvia) Bloch, Maale Michmas

We made aliya from South Africa (Raphi is originally from Zimbabwe) in April 1991. We are both in our 30's, married (to each other) and have 5 children...Shira - 9, Liora - 8, Yaacov - 6, Avichai - 4, and Eliezer - 1. They are all in the school system on the Yishuv, the elder 3 in the national religious school and the younger ones in nursary and play group.

We moved to the Yishuv - MAALE MICHMAS in August 1991 and have been very involved since.

Raphi is a senior assessor/investigator with the Israeli Income Tax department and Heather runs a day creche on the Yishuv after having worked in various educational institutions on Michmas over the years.By training Raphi is an accountant and Heather a social worker.

Both of us speak english and hebrew while Heather has a good knowledge of africaans and Raphi speaks a moderate arabic.
